Volunteers Opportunities

Thank you for considering volunteering with the Western Reserve Fire Museum! Volunteers are vital to the continued well-being of our museum. We greatly appreciate the time and commitment that volunteers give here and throughout the community.

The Western Reserve Fire Museum & Education Center is always looking for volunteers to assist in a variety of different areas.

• Education and Admission Docents - Volunteers are needed to assist with tours, answer questions about the exhibit and help with the admission’s desk /gift shop. If interested in volunteering, please contact the Museum at 216-664-6312. Fill out an application and email to info@wrfmc.com or send by regular mail to the Western Reserve Fire Museum, 310 Carnegie Ave., Cleveland, OH 44115.

The Museum is also in need of Maintenance and Construction volunteers to assist with ongoing building and renovation projects.

• Maintenance & Construction volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks around the museum throughout the week. We are in need of volunteers with experience in any of the following areas: carpentry, electrical, masonry, plumbing, and painting. Volunteers with other maintenance or construction related skills are also welcome.
